Actor Prasad Oak’s portrayal of Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb was exceptionally well-received, earning the film numerous awards.

Through Dharmaveer, Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb reached a global audience, and everyone realized the rarity of such a person. “During the making of Dharmaveer, I had a photo of Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb as the wallpaper on my mobile phone. Over time, I changed it. Despite my strong desire, the elements for Dharmaveer - 2 just weren’t coming together. Finally, I made a heartfelt call to Dighe Saheb and expressed my wish to make Dharmaveer 2. You may not believe it, but the very next day, everything suddenly fell into place, and the work on Dharmaveer - 2 began. This made me feel that Dighe Saheb is still with us,” shared producer Mangesh Desai.
“Just as the film Dharmaveer received an overwhelming response from the audience, we hope that Dharmaveer- 2 will receive an even greater response,” said Mangesh Jeevan Desai of Sahil Motion Arts and Umesh Kumar Bansal of Zee Studios. Dharmaveer - 2 will be released in Marathi and Hindi on August 9.
