The actress who was seen in Gujarati film Fuleku” Bollywood film Rocket Gang and the short film Main Tumhara adds that as far as setting a balance between her personal and private life is concerned, she is very clear about where to set her boundaries.
“The best thing about being a public figure, in my opinion, is the platform it provides to influence positive change and connect with a wide audience to inspire, educate, and advocate for important causes,” she says.
She adds, “Striking a balance between personal and private life involves setting boundaries, prioritising self-care, and maintaining open communication with loved ones. It’s essential to carve out time for family, hobbies, and relaxation amidst professional obligations.”
Ask her how does she distinguish between what to share and what to keep private, and she says, “Distinguishing between what to share and what to keep private requires careful consideration of the potential impact on oneself and others. I believe in being transparent about aspects that align with my public persona while respecting the privacy and dignity of myself and those close to me.”
If there was one thing that she could change about the life of a public figure, it would be the constant judgement meted out by others, she says. “If there was one thing I could change about the life of a public figure, it would be the constant scrutiny and invasion of privacy they often endure. Everyone deserves the right to personal space and boundaries, irrespective of their public status,” she says.
