Sangharshyoddha based on the life of Manoj Jarange Patil has now faced hurdles from the censor board. Originally set to release on April 26, 2024, Sangharshyoddha Manoj Jarange Patil is now scheduled for a statewide release on June 21, 2024.
This film has been the talk of the town for the past 4 to 5 months, sparking discussions across the state. However, the film has hit a roadblock with the censor board, delaying its release.
The ongoing political climate and the recent regulations by the Election Commission have led to the censor board’s decision to not permit the film’s release under the current circumstances. Govardhan Dolatade, the writer and producer of the film, along with director Shivaji Dolatade, Manoj Jarange Patil, and lead actor Rohan Patil, have all put immense effort into bringing this film to life. Despite the challenges, the team worked tirelessly day and night to complete the film. However, with the sudden halt in the film’s release, there is disappointment all around.
Director Shivaji Dolatade mentioned, “Although ‘Sangharshyoddha’ has been halted by the censor board, it will be released with full force on June 21, 2024, across Maharashtra.” He expressed his gratitude for the team’s dedication and assured that the film will be a blockbuster success for Marathi cinema.
Manoj Jarange Patil added, “Even though the censor board has stalled our film, I challenge society and Maharashtra to watch Sangharshyoddha on June 21, 2024. My best wishes are with this film.”
At present, Manoj Jarange Patil is optimistic about the film’s future despite the setback caused by the censor board. He expressed his willingness to promote the film vigorously and is looking forward to its release on June 21, 2024.
