From the runways of fashion weeks to the jury panels of national pageants, and now to the global stage - Margaret Shibu has carved a remarkable journey of elegance, resilience, and achievement.
A native of Kerala and currently residing in Delhi, she retired on 31st May 2025 as Deputy General Manager at the Airports Authority of India. Yet retirement was only the beginning of a new chapter. She has since emerged as a celebrated figure in the world of beauty and pageantry, blending her professional accomplishments with her passion for inspiring women.
Her accolades speak volumes. She won the Mrs. Shining Star subtitle at Mrs. India Empress of the Nation 2024, presented by Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas, Founders, DIVA Pageants ( www.divapageants.com). She then bagged the 1st Runner-Up title at Mrs. India Grehlekshmi 2024, and earned the subtitle Mrs. Dynamic. In 2025, she graced the runway at Pune Times Fashion Weekand served as a jury member for both Mrs. Keralam 2025 and Mrs. Grehlekshmi 2025.
Her crowning glory came in 2025 when she was titled Mrs. Millennium World India 2025, earning the prestigious honor of representing India at the Mrs. Millennium World 2025 International Pageant, an event dedicated to celebrating married women across the globe. The pageant will be held in Malaysia from September 18 to 21, 2025, where she will showcase not just beauty, but the strength, culture, and spirit of Indian womanhood.
Speaking about her journey, Margaret says “Pageantry is not just about crowns or titles - it is about confidence, character, and the courage to represent a larger story. I am humbled to carry the Indian flag on an international platform and hope to inspire women everywhere to believe that it is never too late to dream and achieve.”
But her story would be incomplete without the unstinted support of her husband and children who have been her greatest cheerleaders.
“And of course, a big thank you to my mentors, Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas. Going through the very fruitful and life transforming grooming sessions imparted by them, I became an even better version of myself, and I will always be grateful to them,” beams Margaret.
