Nirmiti Sawant is once again capturing the audience’s attention with her powerful performance. In the trailer of the upcoming film Super Duper, her rustic dialect, dialogue delivery, and authentic rural vibe are being especially appreciated by viewers.
In this film, she portrays a strong woman from a village. The trailer itself offers a glimpse of her character—a woman who manages her home, battles circumstances, and stands firm for the survival of her family. Notably, Nirmiti Sawant has put in special effort to make this role more realistic.
To accurately capture the flavor of rural language, its rawness, and the nuances of the dialect, she sought the help of actor Makrand Anaspure, who is known for creating a distinct style in Marathi cinema. She shared the script with him and learned about specific words, phrases, and the tone of the dialect, which added authenticity to her character.
Speaking about this, Nirmiti Sawant says, “As seen in the trailer, I am playing a woman from a rural background. Her life and experiences are very real. To get the language and tone right, I contacted Makrand Anaspure—with the director’s permission, of course. Since he belongs to that region, his guidance helped me understand the rawness and natural flow of the dialect. I also learned how certain words are used there. Because of this, the role feels more authentic. Otherwise, it would have just been ‘one more role’ among many I’ve played. Now, I feel it will connect better with the audience.”
Makrand AnaspureShe is also very thoughtful when selecting films. While reading scripts, she considers several questions and only accepts roles after finding satisfying answers. She carefully evaluates the production house, director, writer, and cinematographer before making a decision. She is always open to working with new artists if she sees a spark in them.
