Nitish Chavan be seen playing Surya Dada in Zee Marathi’s new show Lakhat Ek Amcha Dada. The show tells the story of four sisters who are brought up by their brother, Surya dada.
The sisters are Teju, Dhanu, Raju, and Bhagya. Tejashri is a teacher in a school, she is fond of kids and extremely optimistic about life. The second sister, Dhanashri, who loves to eat. She is weak in English and is trying her best to pass in the subject. Even though Surya’s third sister, Rajashree, is uneducated, she takes care of the household expenses responsibly. She hasn’t been educated but she is sharp in managing finances. The fourth sister, Bhagyashree, is still studying. She wants to learn singing. So, these eccentric sisters’ brother is Surya. Since childhood, their mother left home. Hence, Surya became the mother of all four sisters. He has raised his sisters with discipline. He doesn’t tolerate anyone disrespecting his sisters. Even if someone says anything against them, it’s like a challenge to him. Despite this, his sisters have immense love for Surya. Surya doesn’t have any personal dreams. He has kept his childhood love in his heart. Tulja is the love of Surya’s life.
Being a simple grocery store owner, what extraordinary qualities does Surya possess that make him and his four sisters a good, simple yet beautiful story?
