Nitu Joshi of Miam Charitable Trust Empowers Tribal Youth in Gadchiroli

In a region long affected by backwardness and Naxal unrest, a transformative initiative titled ‘Har Ghar Naukri, Jeevan Bhar Roshni’ (A Job in Every Home, Light for Life) is changing lives—thanks to the dedicated efforts of Nitu Joshi and her team at Miam Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Surjagad Ispat Pvt. Ltd.

Launched in the remote tribal belt of Waddalapeth (Taluka Ahiri), this initiative provides free physical training, academic coaching, digital literacy, nutrition, and transport facilities to tribal youth preparing for careers in the army, police, CRPF, forest services, and other government sectors.

Key Highlights:

  • Physical Training by Experts for army and police recruitment
  • Free Coaching & Study Material by experienced educators
  • Digital Skills Training for a tech-enabled future
  • Supportive Resources like uniforms, shoes, stationery, and healthy snacks
  • Transportation from villages within a 25-kilometer range

Speaking about the initiative, Nitu Joshi said, “A government job not only transforms an individual’s life but uplifts an entire family. Our mission is to bring dignity and opportunity to every tribal household.”

This CSR-backed project, financially supported by Surjagad Ispat Pvt. Ltd. and socially driven by Miam Charitable Trust, is fast becoming a beacon of hope in one of Maharashtra’s most underserved regions.

For Gadchiroli’s tribal youth, this programme is more than a training center—it’s a launchpad for a brighter, self-reliant future.
