Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani, is a must-watch for Bollywood fans. It’s packed with action, drama, and everything that makes a movie enjoyable. While the film tackles important social issues like the caste system and untouchability, it never feels preachy.
The social themes are presented in a smart and effective way. Sharvari is the true standout here, delivering a powerful performance. After her success in Munjya and Maharaj, she once again proves she’s an actor to watch in Vedaa.
Sharing the screen with action star John Abraham is no easy task, but Sharvari holds her own. John, known for his action roles, often doesn’t get enough credit for his performances. In Vedaa, his commitment and intensity in action scenes are impressive.
Abhishek Banerjee plays a calm yet menacing villain, while Ashish Vidyarthi adds another layer of depth with his performance.
The story is tight, to the point, and well written. One minor downside is the limited screen time for Tamannaah, who deserved more presence in the film. The film deserves a watch for its performances, Nikkhil’s conviction and of course John’s action.
