Magic presents a gripping story of the turmoil that unfolds in the life of a police officer who is an encounter specialist. The teaser of the film was recently unveiled by Marathi cinema’s legendary actor, Padma Shri Ashok Saraf, and distinguished senior actress Nivedita Joshi Saraf.
Producer Raju Satyam of Tutari Ventures, who has previously produced Bollywood and Tamil films, is making his debut as a producer in Marathi cinema through Magic. The film is directed by Ravindra Vijaya Karmarkar. The story has been written by Yogesh Vinayak Joshi and Ravindra Vijaya Karmarkar, while the screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Yogesh Vinayak Joshi and Abhishek Deshmukh. Cinematography is by Kedar Phadke, music by Devendra Bhoma and the duo Chinar–Mahesh, and art direction by Mahesh Kudalakar. The film features Jitendra Joshi in the lead role as an encounter specialist, along with Siddhirupa Karmarkar, Jui Bhagwat, Priyanka Palkar, Mayur Khandge, Abhijit Zunjarrrao, Rupa Mangle, Nitin Bhajan, Gururaj Kulkarni, Yogesh Kelkar, Pradeep Doiphode, and Rasikraj in prominent roles.
In the teaser of Magic, we see Jitendra Joshi sitting inside a police station, lost in deep thought. A girl appears before him, but her presence seems blurred to him—this forms the core of the teaser. His mental conflict and emotions are clearly reflected on his face throughout. The ticking clock used as background music adds an eerie tension, giving viewers goosebumps. This teaser succeeds in holding the audience’s attention. The mystical world of Magic is approaching closer with each passing day. With its strong star cast and gripping storyline, audiences will have to wait until January 1 to witness Magic unfold on the big screen.
