Pari Bhatti, who plays the role of Juhi Jadhav in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, says that she loves being part of the show. The show stars Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora as the lead pair.
“This show was a great opportunity to show myself and my talents out there with Rahul sir’s help. It was great, honestly and I’m glad I got this opportunity. Thanks to Rahul sir and the Star Plus team for believing in me,” says Pari.
She adds, “Udne Ki Aasha is basically about a girl who is trying her best to support her family by doing everything she can also with this comes various plots and interesting turns in her life. People can expect a new and fresh concept from Udne ki Aasha since it’s different from many daily soap serials out there.”
Talking about the title, she says, “Personally, for me, the title suggests ‘the desire to fly’ meaning if you have the desire to dream and to make your dreams true, then you definitely can. All you need is the will and desire to do something.”
The actor says that she loves playing her character in the show. “I’m playing the character of Juhi, who is the younger sister of Sailee. She is short-tempered yet understanding and loving. She is very open about her feelings and straightforward. She cares for her family and can do anything for them Her love for her father is immense which I can relate to, Juhi is me but a little different. I love how she takes a stand for her family whenever needed,” she says.
She adds, “Honestly, I’m kind of similar to my character, but since I’m a little younger than my reel age, it’s kind of difficult for me to act that mature. Juhi is very mature and responsible which I might not be in real life! (laughs). My preparations for this character were to learn about Marathi culture and the language, it was difficult but I’m still learning.”
Meanwhile, it’s fun to work on the set, says Pari. “My favourite co-star is not one but my whole family on screen. We’re all so close I feel at home with them. We eat, sit, and talk together the whole day. It’s so much fun to be with them. I’ve never had an older sister but Sailee (Tai) is like one, she entertains us the whole day at set. She’s very fun to be around,” she says.
She adds, “Every day at set is a fun day for us but mainly whenever I mistakenly fumble my dialogue and it becomes a joke for the whole day is fun and lunchtime is my favourite of all we all sit together and eat like a real family.”
Working with producer Rahul Tewary is an amazing experience. “Rahul sir is very fun to be around with he’s a very chilled out person. Which makes us also feel chill. He is really sweet and nice, it was fun to meet him,” she says.
