Indian Idol finalist Parleen Gill talks about the unconditional bond with his 7 year-old beagle Brownie on the occasion of Pet Day. Sharing his learnings from Brownie the popular singer says, ”Brownie has taught me compassion, unconditional love, and the power of forgiveness. Most importantly, he’s taught me how to live fully in the present moment and to be grateful for every single day.” He also adds, ”Brownie is my first-ever pet. I was always sceptical about having a pet because I understood the level of responsibility it takes, they’re like a child who depends on you from day one till their last breath. But the moment Brownie came into my life, my entire perspective changed. Now, I can’t imagine even a single day without him. Apart from my wife Blondelle, he truly is my whole world.”
Talking about his special moments with Brownie Parleen says, ”Every moment spent with him feels special. I genuinely feel grateful to God that Brownie came into my life. It’s almost like living with another human. He’s incredibly intelligent and understands me deeply, and I understand him just as well. Sometimes, just one look at him is enough for me to know what he wants or how he’s feeling. There’s something truly magical about having him around. As for showing love, it’s in the little things: spending time with him, talking to him, taking care of him, and making sure he feels safe and happy, always. In him I got my forever friend.”
