Ganpatrao Deshmukh, who hails from a traditional family of staunch devotees in an ordinary family and was elected as an MLA eleven times from Sangola, had represented his constituency for almost 55 years. The life and times of the late Ganpatrao Deshmukh alias Aabhasaheb is now all set to unfold in the form of a feature film.. The film Karmayogi Aabhasaheb which has a stellar star cast is all set to release on October 25 this year in Marathi and Hindi all over the world.The poster of the film is also all set to be unveiled on social media shortly.
The film is being produced by Maika Mauli Film Production and Mumbai Creation Entertainment by Marutim Tulsiram, Bankar and Balasaheb Mahadev Erande. Altaf Dadasaheb Sheikh has not only written the subject , but also penned the lyrics azs well as directed the film, which Avdhoot Gupte has composed the music. Kumar Dongre has not only cranked the camera but also edited the film.Kunal Ganjawala and Manish Rajgire have sung for the film.
Prominent roles in the film have been played by Aniket Vishwasrao. Hardik Joshi,Devika Daftardar, Prithvik Pratap, Vijay Patkar, Pradeep Velankar, Suresh Vishwakarma, Arbaz Shaikh, Tanaji Galgunde, Ghanshyam Darode (Chota Pudhari), Ahmed Deshmukh, Vrinda Bal, Nikita Sukhdev, Ali Shaikh, Altaf Dadasaheb Shaikh, Amjad Khan Shaikh is the Executive Producer while Syed Dadaso Shaikh is the production controller.
Aabhasaheb had contributed greatly to the administration of the State and as well as the society.For eleven times, he had won the elections and twice served as a Cabinet Minister.The film will set out to show how Aabhasaheb had dealt with adverse situations ably and worked wonders for the peasants in his constituency. We will have to wait till October 25 to see what Aabhasaheb had set out to achieve.
