Pratik Gandhi announces Anant Mahadevan's 'Aata Vel Jhali'

Renowned director Anant Narayan Mahadevan’s upcoming film, “Aata Vel Jhali,” has already made a splash on social media with its first poster, featuring actors Dilip Prabhavalkar and Rohini Hattangadi. The film’s announcement was made by actor Pratik Gandhi on his social media platforms. The movie includes pivotal roles played by Bharat Dabholkar, Suresh Vishwakarma, Smita Tambe, Jayant Wadkar, and Abhinav Patekar, in addition to Dilip Prabhavalkar and Rohini Hattangadi.

Imagination Entertainment and Media, in association with Anant Narayan Mahadevan Films, produces the film, with Dinesh Bansal, G. K. Agrawal, and Anant Mahadevan as producers.

Regarding the film, Anant Narayan Mahadevan says, “Experience the joy of life’s end, this film narrates the story of every adult. This film is like the other side of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Anand.’ Euthanasia is a subject that has affected me during this pandemic. When the world began to view life and death with a different perspective, the youth also started looking at life in a new light. Their outlook shifted from a materialistic view to a practical one. This film will surely strike a chord with the minds of both the elderly and the youth.”

The film has already been pre-selected for various international festivals such as the Dallas International Film Festival, Pune International Film Festival (Best Actor), Rajasthan International Film Festival (Best Film and Best Director), and the Popular Jagran Film Festival, Sharjah Film Platform International Festival.
