The third edition of the Indian Telly Streaming Awards (ITSA) was a star-studded affair and saw a lot of celebrities in attendance. Prerna Wanvari, executive director of ITV Group, is happy with the response and said, “We are glad that writers, directors, actors, platforms, and producers were in full attendance at the awards gala.” “We are also thrilled to know that the evening was very entertaining and gratifying for the audience, nominees, winners, and presenters,” she added. She also praised the hosts of the show—Prabhuddh Dyma and Yash Thakur—for keeping the audience hooked. She said, “They did not let a minute feel dull. The red carpet was as exciting as the inside section of the awards gala.” Prerna is also an actress and manages both her roles quite efficiently. Asked how she manages both her roles, she said, “I deeply value what my father has built from scratch. I am extremely passionate about what I do here as an executive director, as much as I am driven to do acting parts that have a lasting impression in the audience’s mind.”
She also spoke about her father, Anil Wanvari, and brother, Mishaal, and said that her father’s vision is to create and build platforms and IPs that take the industry forward. One of these platforms, the Indian Telly Streaming Awards, is instrumental in recognizing and celebrating the talent and creators from the digital/OTT world of India and includes regional makers too. He is glad to see the increasing participation of the industry in ITSA and appreciates the jury’s time and effort,” she said.
“Mishaal Wanvari brought life to the vision by putting together the awards gala and has ensured that no talent goes unrecognized. Right from encouraging participation to celebrating the win alongside the nominees and winners, Mishaal Wanvari is involved in the entire process,” she added.
