One of Marathi cinema’s most beloved on-screen and real-life couples, Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat, are all set to return to the silver screen together after 12 long years in the upcoming film Bin Lagnachi Goshta (A Story Without Marriage). Fans who’ve been eagerly waiting to see the duo together again can now rejoice, as their wish comes true with the release of this film on September 12. The makers recently unveiled the motion poster on social media, creating a buzz among audiences.
The intriguing poster has only heightened the excitement. Priya stands confidently with folded arms and a playful smirk, clearly resolute in her stance. Umesh, on the other hand, is shown wearing a traditional wedding headband and holding a garland—appearing ready for a wedding, though something seems amiss. The visuals suggest that this isn’t a conventional love story—it’s about redefining relationships outside the boundaries of traditional marriage.
Director Aditya Ingale shares, “This is a story of love, misunderstandings in relationships, and resolving the knots we’ve held onto for years. It’s a mirror to today’s times—audiences will definitely see a reflection of themselves. Some may walk away with new questions, while others may find new answers to old ones. Told through light, relatable moments, this story is sure to entertain.”
Producer Nitin Vaidya adds, “Priya and Umesh’s chemistry has always been special for audiences. I’m thrilled they’re coming together again through my film. The concept of this film is unique and very relevant to contemporary times.”
Produced by Godgift Entertainment Pvt Ltd and SN Productions, and presented by Tejashree Adige and Nitin Vaidya Productions, Bin Lagnachi Goshta will release across Maharashtra on September 12. Directed by Aditya Ingale, the film is produced by Sunil Biyani, Pawan Mehta, and Nitin Prakash Vaidya.
