In the upcoming season of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya – Comedycha Gangwar, Priyadarshan Jadhav is all set to entertain viewers once again—this time in not one or two, but three different roles: writer, director, and actor!
A multitalented artist who has made a lasting impression across films, theatre, and web series, Priyadarshan is known for always bringing something new to the table. Having built a successful career in acting, writing, and directing, he’s now geared up for another grand comedy feast.
Expressing his excitement, Priyadarshan shared, “I was part of the team right from the beginning when Fu Bai Fu started, but due to certain reasons, I couldn’t continue that journey. So when I was approached for the new season of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, it felt like coming home again. Zee Marathi has played a significant role in my career. As for preparations, I’ll be partly responsible for directing the show, writing a few skits, and acting in them as well. Naturally, audience expectations will be sky-high because the show has entertained all of Maharashtra for 10 years, and viewers will be expecting something new and exciting. We’re definitely working hard to deliver on that. We won’t be alone in this season—several emerging comedy artists from different parts of Maharashtra will be joining us on this stage. They’re going to be the real stars of the show. My role in this season will be a triple one: directing, overseeing the performances of the contestants, and performing myself. But I won’t be doing all this alone—some very talented writers and directors are working alongside me, and we’re all collaborating as a team.”
He added, “The first day of the shoot was explosive! I had a great time working with Bharat, Shreya, Kushal, and Gaurav. I’ve worked with Kushal in theatre, Shreya acted in my web series, and Bharat in my play. I hadn’t had the opportunity to work with Gaurav before, but this show finally gave me that chance. When people found out I was part of this show, I received so many calls and messages with best wishes. I was deeply moved by the audience’s love—and now, the responsibility feels even greater. We’re all working really hard, and looking at how the skits are turning out, I’m confident we’ll bring the same joy to viewers once again.”
