Siddharth Shirole, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Shivajinagar Constituency, has generously extended support to 32 underprivileged school children studying at Vimalabai Garware School from class five to class ten. MLA Shirole presented a cheque of INR 78,750 towards their educational fees.
The financial condition of some school children from the Shivajinagar constituency was deficient, making it difficult to pay their school fees. Recognizing this challenge, MLA Siddharth Shirole stepped in to alleviate the burden by covering the school fees for 32 such children.
At a special event held recently, the cheque was handed over to Maharashtra Education Society’s Vimalabai Garware School. The event was attended by Principal Rohidas Bharmal, Balasaheb Dalvi, and Kiran Orse, along with several students, parents, teachers, and staff of the institution.
Expressing his satisfaction, MLA Siddharth Shirole said, “My work is driven by the spirit of contributing to society. It is with this intent that I strive to make a difference. I believe that these school children will achieve success in their future endeavors, and my support is just a small step towards that.”
He further emphasized the importance of contributing to society beyond regular duties, stating, “Service to the community is a crucial medium of fulfilling our responsibilities. My continuous effort to work for the public good and to nurture the welfare of citizens brings immense joy and motivation to me. This joy fuels my commitment to ongoing community service.”
