Raashii Khanna: Women are no longer just props; they are actors

Raashii Khanna’s filmography is a perfect blend of commercial and content-driven films. When asked if female actors are getting enough roles, she responded, “We are still trying to get there. I believe it is equally important to do commercial films. As a female actor, I feel it is crucial to maintain a balance between commercial and content-driven films. I’ve also realized that I’m not just a prop in a film. Women are no longer just props; they are actors,” says Raashii.

On the theatrical front, Raashii Khanna starred in 2024’s first Tamil hit, Aranmanai 4. With this film, she not only marked her third consecutive hit but also established herself as the golden girl of the Tamil film industry. Currently, she has an exciting lineup of projects. Raashi is preparing for the release of The Sabarmati Report and Talaakhon Mein Ek with Vikrant Massey. Beyond this, she also has a Telugu film titled Telusu Kada in the pipeline.
