Raavee Gupta: Mixed emotions about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi going off air

Raavee Gupta is experiencing mixed emotions as. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 prepares to go off air. While the actor knew that the show was planned as a finite series, she is happy with the response it has received and the way her character’s journey has unfolded. For her, the show has been an important milestone, bringing her back into the spotlight after a gap and giving her a chance to reconnect with familiar faces.

Talking about the show coming to an end, Raavee says, “I have mixed emotions about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi going off air. We all knew it was going to be a finite series and that it would end at some point, but it is bittersweet. I am happy with the way the show has been received and how my character has been received. I am also happy with the way the character arc has been portrayed.”

Recalling her time on the show, the actor says the moments spent with the cast and crew have been among her most cherished memories. She adds, “Some of my most memorable moments have been on the set, especially when the whole cast is present or when we have combination scenes. We have had great camaraderie, bonding and friendship. It was also so easy to reconnect with everyone after so many years. That is one of the biggest takeaways for me. The last day of shoot was quite emotional for everyone. I have spent so much time on the sets and I guess it’s natural to feel that vacuum. We have built a bond that we will cherish, and I hope we continue to stay in touch.”

Raavee also speaks warmly about working with Smriti Irani, saying that the actor and politician is someone she genuinely looks up to. “Smriti is such an incredible lady. She is someone I really look up to. She is so driven, passionate and focused on every aspect of her work. I really admire the way she pays attention to details and remembers the little things. She is also very warm, and that is something I will always cherish,” she says.

Professionally, being part of a show with such a strong legacy has helped Raavee regain visibility in the industry. Having returned to work after a gap, she believes the attention surrounding the show has opened doors to new possibilities and prompted conversations about her next project.

“Professionally, it has helped me in a big way because there is so much limelight on the show. Since I started working again after a bit of a gap, doing a show like this has really thrust me back into the spotlight. Now people know that I am working, and I have already started getting calls from people asking what I will be doing next, especially since Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is going off air,” she says.

Calling the show an important milestone in her career, Raavee adds, “The show was very important to my career then, and it has been equally important to my professional journey now. Being part of it again has meant a lot to me.”

As she prepares to bid farewell to the show, Raavee says it is the camaraderie with her co-stars and the everyday moments on set that she will miss the most. Beyond the scenes and the work, the laughter, friendly teasing and conversations between shots have made the experience memorable.

“I will miss the camaraderie with all my co-stars the most. I am really going to miss the off-screen banter, the leg-pulling and the laughs. Those little moments may seem simple, but they mean so much. These are the things I will carry with me even after the show ends,” Raavee concludes.
