Amidst the diverse musical genres, Radio City, India’s leading radio network, embraced the harmonious spirit of World Music Day. They orchestrated a remarkable event at Rameshwar Vidya Mandir in Vakola, Santacruz East, Mumbai, marking the beginning of their celebrations, highlighting music’s potential to inspire and unite people from all walks of life.
In an effort to nurture young talent, Radio City’s Music Tribe “In association with – KAVACH a movement” and “Supported by Furtados Music” hosted this vibrant event, with over 120 kids from an NGO that works with children of local BMC schools and helps them in fulfilling their dreams. The event was filled with melodies and interactive activities, wherein Radio City distributed musical instruments to the kids, encouraging them to explore their musical abilities and experience the transformative power of music.
The event was graced by a live performance from the acclaimed singer Tony Kakkar, whose presence captivated and motivated the young audience. Renowned artist, Shibani Kashyap, also lauded the event with her presence. Additionally, the children were engaged by the channel’s energetic RJs through interactive games, making the event both fun and educational.
