With a career spanning prestigious establishments worldwide, Chef Avijit brings a wealth of culinary expertise and a dedication to excellence. His journey began at the renowned Amarvilas, an Oberoi Resort in Agra, and has since seen him helm kitchens across diverse settings, including The Ritz Carlton Bangalore, The Leela Palace Kempinski Bangalore and Udaipur, Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, Hilton Chennai and Novotel & Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. His extensive international experience with brands like Celebrity Cruises, P&O Cruises and Marriott International has honed his craft to perfection, making him a seasoned leader in the culinary world.
Prior to joining Raffles Udaipur, Chef Avijit served as Executive Chef at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel in Birmingham, United Kingdom, where he implemented innovative culinary concepts that garnered critical acclaim and elevated guest dining experiences.

Raffles Udaipur is equally excited to announce the appointment of Praveen Kumar Reddy Bonthu as Executive Sous Chef. Chef Praveen brings over 16 years of experience, having trained and worked under Michelin star chefs. His recent role as Chef de Cuisine at Raffles Doha showcased his expertise in managing high-end culinary operations in an ultra-luxury setting.
Chef Praveen’s impressive career includes notable positions such as Chef de Cuisine at the Crown Plaza Resort in Salalah, Oman, worked in ultra-luxury properties St.Regis, Dubai, Emirates Place, Abu Dhabi as Sous Chef. He worked under Michelin Star Chefs Garry Holly Hood and Dean Bouvet. Also participated in events with 3 Michelin Star Chefs Charlie Trotter, Regis Macron, Pascal Barbot. His leadership in pre-opening projects, menu planning, and staff training has consistently driven culinary excellence and guest satisfaction. Chef Praveen’s extensive experience in international cuisine, combined with his ability to manage large-scale operations, makes him a valuable addition to the Raffles Udaipur team.
