It was a great day for Rahul Kumar Tewary and his team at Rahul Tewary Production as they took home not less than six awards at the Telly Awards 2025. Rahul himself was felicitated with the Best Showrunner award, which he shared with B. Srinivasan and Radhika Srinivasan. An emotional Rahul took to the stage and thanked his team for their hard work and dedication.
“While the award points at one single individual, I don’t think anyone in this industry can reach this far alone. So it’s a journey of all of us together,” he said on the stage, thanking his production team, the cast, and his directors.
He even took to Instagram to share the video clip and wrote, “You alone can do it, but you can’t do it alone. Thanks to the positive people around me who have worked harder than me to ensure we achieve.”
The other awards the show, Udne Ki Aasha, won are Best Drama Series to Udne Ki Aasha, Best On-Screen Couple to Sachin and Sailee, played by Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora, Best Main Lead to Kanwar Dhillon, Best Supporting Actor to Puru Chibber, and Best DOP to Dannie.
Actor Kanwar Dhillon too was on cloud nine as he won in two of the most important categories. He took to Instagram to thank his team and commended Rahul for giving him the lead role in his show. Kanwar wrote, “Best Actor, Best Jodi & Best Series, among other categories, for #UdneKiAasha. Thank you to each & everyone of you who believed in my journey & to the team of @tellychakkar & @the_indian_telly_awards for these beauties!”
He added, “@rahultewary sir, forever grateful to you for giving me #SachinDeshmukh & being the finest producer to work with. To all the fans who never stopped supporting & cheering for me all through this journey of 14 years, this win is for each one of you #KDians. Cheers to the entire cast & crew of UKA.”
