Rajkamal Entertainment, a brand-new production house, is all set to bring an exciting Marathi film to the big screen. The studio is helmed by Rahul Shantaram, the grandson of legendary filmmaker V Shantaram and son of Kiran V Shantaram. Inspired by his illustrious grandfather, Rahul has ventured into filmmaking with a mission to create impactful and entertaining cinema.
Although the film’s title remains under wraps, it promises to be a treat for audiences as it marks the return of iconic actors Maharashtra Bhushan Ashok Saraf and Vandana Gupte together on the silver screen after many years. The movie, directed by Lokesh Gupte, is described as a blend of humor, emotion, and charm, making it a must-watch for Marathi cinema enthusiasts.
Sharing his thoughts, veteran actor Ashok Saraf said, “After a long time, I’ve received such a powerful role, something I’ve been waiting for. The story resonates with today’s times, and Lokesh Gupte has done a wonderful job choosing and crafting the subject. During the shoot, I was impressed by his deep understanding of cinema and his attention to detail. Working with Vandana Gupte again has been delightful—our give-and-take on screen has brought depth to our characters.
