The engaging conversation kicked off when Aditya addressed Rohit and the audience by saying, “Rohit bhai ke bohot saare fans hain, unki toh puri duniya fan hain aur inko Pookie Pullshotter Rohit sharma bolte hain kyuki inka pull shot famous hain. Toh Rohit bhai, mujhe janana hain ki aapka pull shot itna famous hain toh uspe kaise aapne kaam kiya and usko apna USP kaise banaya.”
Responding candidly to the question and tracing the origins of his pull shot and how he got a hold on it back in the day, Rohit Sharma shared by saying, “Main jaha par rehta tha aur jab maine khelna start kiya toh aksar aapne dekha hoga ki International cricket mein turf pitch pe khelte hain aur main jaha rehta tha vaha concrete pitch hi hota hain, cement pitch jisse bolte hain kyuki turf pitch expensive hota hain aur usse bohot maintain karna padta hain. Toh maine mera saara bachpan cement pitch pe practise kiya hain aur cement mein kya hota hain ki ball bohot tezzi se aata hain aur humare coach hume bina helmet ke khelne bolte the so that mera dhyaan ball pe ho. Lekin abhi sochta hoon toh lagta hain ki khelte waqt sabko helmet pehena chahiye. Toh cement pitch hota hi back foot ke liye so that aap pull shot maar sako, toh uspe khelke pull shot main sikhne laga. Ek tarah se pull shot cement pe khelna better hota hain.”
The engaging exchange gave viewers a wonderful insight into the grassroots roots of one of India’s top sporting icons. Family Full House continues to deliver heartwarming entertainment and spontaneous conversations for the entire family.
