Actor Rohitashv Gour, who plays the role of Manmohan Tiwari in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, recently received an ITA award for the show. He says that such awards help him work harder, perform better.
“I received the Best Actor - Comedy (Popular) award at the Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards. Awards play a very important role in my career. They give me the confidence to keep working and a sense of satisfaction that my efforts are being recognized. When someone acknowledges your work, it feels good, and it also helps you reach a wider audience,” he says.
He adds that this recognition goes a long way in motivating him to do better. “Recognition of talent often opens doors to new opportunities because your position and status start to matter in the eyes of others. Especially an award like the ITA, which is so prestigious in the television industry, carries its own unique value. I believe awards inspire you to work harder, boost your confidence, and help build relationships in the industry. They also give you a platform to connect with people from the film fraternity. For example, during the ITA event, I got the chance to meet several people from Bollywood whom I didn’t know personally before. It felt great when such big names, including someone as respected as Rakesh Roshan ji, recognized and greeted me. Moments like these are truly encouraging and meaningful for any artist,” he says.
