Actor Saanand Verma says that we must pledge to take care of our health and overall wellness. He adds that we must naturally include healthy habits in our lifestyle so that we are not too dependent on medicines.
People talk and watch videos, talk a lot of knowledgeable stuff about health but it’s just talking nobody actually follows anything. The most important thing is health and one should focus on it and should follow good things religiously. Humans are clever yet we are very careless when it comes to health. If you follow a good lifestyle, you will not fall ill. The medical industry has a lot of money and the people related at the top level are richer. And all of them cannot be trusted. If people followed proper natural ways and a healthy lifestyle, the pandemic and stuff wouldn’t have happened,” he says.
He says that when it comes to diet and workout, there needs to be a balance. “It is very important to strike a balance in whatever we do, everything that is overdone is not good. In any field, whatever you overdo will have a negative impact on yourself. Dedicate at least one hour to exercise in your 24 hours, stay active and happy, eat good, have good sleep. Eat fruits, raw salads, and greens, avoid junk not a lot of spices, no packaged food and have a cheat day sometimes,” he says.
He also says that ageing gracefully is important. “I believe age is just a number. Take for example, Amitabh Bachchan who doesn’t act his age, keeps working hard even today. Don’t think about age and live an stress-free life. Stay happy, and go with the flow. Everything is god’s will don’t take life too seriously. Don’t try to control or stress things that aren’t in our hands. Health is in our hands and one should take care of their health and live a healthy life,” he says.
