Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha is set to bring an interesting mix of romance, humour and family drama as Sachin and Sailee’s journey to Mumbai takes an unexpected turn.
Sailee wants Sachin to put aside his worries about the future and enjoy the time they have together. She reminds him that their morning may not have gone as planned, but they are together now and should make the most of it. While she enjoys the pleasant weather, the cool breeze and the romantic music playing in the car, Sachin remains occupied with thoughts about their responsibilities, especially the children’s school fees. Sailee tries to make him understand that responsibilities will always be there, but they should not forget to enjoy the happy moments in life. She also looks forward to the children’s excitement when they return home and celebrate Diwali together.
However, their romantic drive is interrupted when they come across a road blocked due to construction work. The workers inform them that the route will reopen only the next morning. Sachin requests them to let the car pass, explaining that they need to reach Mumbai urgently, but they refuse. He then calls Riya and informs her that they are stuck because of the road closure. He asks her to look after the children, and she assures him that they are already asleep.
With the main road blocked, Sailee suggests taking an alternative route. Sachin explains that one road is in a terrible condition, while the other passes through a forest and is unsafe at night. With no suitable option left, the couple decides to spend the night at a nearby place. Even then, Sachin is unable to stop worrying about the children’s school fees and the cheque that needs to be deposited at the bank. Sailee reassures him that they can leave early in the morning and reach on time. She also playfully teases him about getting an entire night alone with his wife, making Sachin suspect that she might have planned the situation herself.
Their search for a place to stay brings them to Sanskar Lodge. Impressed by its grand appearance, the two wonder whether the establishment will be as good as it looks. However, things quickly become uncomfortable when they notice a notice stating that unmarried couples are not allowed.
Their stay becomes even more complicated when the lodge owner confronts them and questions their presence. Sailee clarifies that Sachin is her husband, but the owner sarcastically questions their marriage, suggesting that anyone can pretend to be married with a sindoor and mangalsutra. Sachin gets irritated by his remarks and argues with him.
After hearing that the couple has been stranded because of the road closure and that their children are waiting at home, the owner finally agrees to accommodate them. Introducing himself as Bada Tauji, he welcomes them to his lodge but makes it clear that they will have to follow his rules.
The unusual arrangements leave Sachin completely frustrated when Bada Tauji gives them two separate keys and assigns them sleeping spaces divided by a curtain. Sachin questions why a married couple should be made to sleep separately, but the owner insists on maintaining discipline. He even draws an imaginary boundary and warns them not to move the bed beyond it.
Once the owner leaves, Sachin and Sailee find the entire arrangement ridiculous. Sailee jokingly wonders whether the lodge is haunted and brings up Manjulika. Their conversation is interrupted when someone repeatedly knocks on their door, irritating Sachin as he asks the visitor to stop disturbing them.
Meanwhile, back home, the family starts getting worried as Sachin is not answering his calls. With questions being raised about the ration, medical and other household expenses that have already been paid, his absence only adds to their concern.
Sachin and Sailee’s unexpected stay at Sanskar Lodge is set to bring several amusing situations, with Bada Tauji’s unusual rules making their night away from home anything but ordinary.
