A wave of excitement and beauty is about to hit the Marathi film industry, as everyone’s beloved actor Sai Tamhankar is all set to dazzle audiences with her first-ever Lavani performance in the much-awaited film Devmanus, with the song ‘Alech Mi’ (Here I Come). The film is scheduled to release on April 25, 2025.
Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under the banner of Luv Films, and directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Renuka Shahane, Subodh Bhave, and Siddharth Bodke in key roles.
Known for her impactful performances across diverse roles, Sai Tamhankar will be seen in a completely new avatar in the song ‘Alech Mi’. Sung by the iconic Bela Shende, known for her distinct voice in the world of traditional Marathi music, the song also features vocals by Rohan Pradhan. The energetic and vibrant track is composed by the Rohan-Rohan duo, penned by Tejas Deoskar, with additional lyrics by Rohan Gokhale. The choreography, rich in authentic Lavani style and high on energy, is done by renowned Lavani expert Ashish Patil.
For this role, Sai dedicated over 33 hours to practice, immersing herself in every nuance of Lavani to deliver a power-packed performance. Speaking about her experience, Sai shared:
“Performing Lavani in ‘Devmanus’ was an extraordinary experience. It was a new attempt for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The moment I heard the song, I felt an electric thrill. I’m extremely grateful to Luv Films and Tejas for choosing me for this role. Without Ashish’s guidance, such a compelling Lavani wouldn’t have been possible.
