Artist Sanika Shinde mesmerized the audience with her performance in Arangetram,. The programme commenced with an offering to Lord Natraj and Lord Shri Ganesh, followed by a soulful rendition of Ganesh Panchakam. Sanika then showcased her proficiency in diverse ragas such as Alaripu, Jatiswaram, and Shabdam, with a special focus on Kalyani and Todi. The pinnacle of her performance was marked by the Abhang-based expressions in ‘Aji Soniyacha Divas’ and ‘Abir Gulal,’ leaving an indelible mark on the audience.
The stage witnessed a harmonious collaboration between the accomplished vocalist Yashwant Rao Chavan and Sanika’s graceful dance, creating a mesmerizing spectacle in the prestigious Yashwantarao Chavan Auditorium. The finale, ‘Tillana-Mangalam,’ resonated with excellence.
Dr Sandhya Purecha, the guiding force behind Sanika, contributed significantly to the presentation, imparting her wisdom and guidance with unparalleled dedication. Her commitment to mentoring students at the Bharati College of Performing Arts and the Music and Drama Academy reflects her passion for nurturing artistic talent.
