Sankarshan Karhade will soon be seen as a judge on Zee Marathi’s Drama Juniors, where he will guide young contestants. In his personal life, Sankarshan is the father of twin children who will turn three on June 27. With Father’s Day approaching, he shared his experiences and the lessons he has learned as a father. He mentioned that fatherhood has taught him immense patience. Taking care of young children and raising them requires a great deal of patience as their needs and behaviors can be unpredictable. This patience will be particularly useful in his role as a judge on the show. “My kids are very young and I have to be extremely patient around them. I can’t be short-tempered or impatient when interacting with them. I find it very difficult to see them fry. If they are throwing a tantrum, I tell my wife Shalaka to just give in. Once they have calmed down I sit with them and explain stuff to them. They tend to understand things better then.”
Sankarshan also spoke about his father, highlighting the values of honesty and dedication. He admires his father’s commitment to providing a good life for the family and strives to emulate these qualities in his own life. He said, “My father is extremely honest, dedicated, and consistent in his work. His emotional and genuine nature is something I deeply respect. As his son, I try to bring that same honesty and emotional depth into my actions. My father ensured our family had a good life, and I aim to follow that example closely.”
His debut as a judge on Drama Juniors is eagerly anticipated. Be sure to watch Drama Juniors starting from June 22, every Saturday and Sunday at 9pm on Zee Marathi.
