Known for her striking presence in fashion, dance, and acting, actor Sanskruti Balgude has consistently taken on bold and challenging roles. Currently, she is making headlines for her latest film, and for a very special reason—her English film Courage was officially selected for the Santo Domingo Film Festival in the USA and had a special screening there. This marks her debut in an English film, and she traveled to represent the movie on an international stage.
Sharing her excitement about this journey, Sanskruti said, “As a Marathi girl, representing India at such a prestigious film festival is a matter of immense pride. It feels amazing, but there’s also a sense of responsibility and a little pressure. However, this experience is truly incredible, and I am eagerly looking forward to it.”
Courage is directed by Ankur Kakatkar and produced by Dr. Uday Devaskar and Sushant Tungare. Expressing her gratitude, Sanskruti added, “I always wanted to be part of a woman-oriented film, and getting Courage was truly a blessing. Our film is being screened under the ‘Country of Honor’ section, and we are thrilled to represent it on such a global platform.”
