Sayli Salunkhe, who is seen as Vedika in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak, which is produced under their banner, LSD Studios, is over the moon that her show has completed 50 episodes. She said, “Our Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak has reached fifty episodes, and it feels quite special. In the beginning, when we started, the story was interesting and unique.”
Though she stressed that initially there were challenges when she picked up the character, now it has become a part of her. But she added, “Even then, the real competition is with yourself. It’s exciting to feel that you can always do better with each episode. Now, after fifty episodes, I’m really happy. I’ve found a lovely family on the show, with wonderful people. The support and positive environment make working enjoyable. It feels great to work in such a joyful atmosphere, and I hope we can continue together for many more episodes, creating more beautiful moments.”
Sayli also stressed that the initial challenge was only so that the character wouldn’t become monotonous. She said, “You’re always thinking about how your character can be different from others and what new things you can show. In terms of performance, it can sometimes be tough, especially as you adapt to the flow of the show.“
Apart from that, she hasn’t faced any major problems or challenges. “If there is a challenge, it’s usually about keeping the character interesting, which I think is necessary for maintaining excitement and enjoyment in the role,” she said.
Despite some disagreements that are very common in a working environment, she stressed that every day on the set is memorable. She said, “With fifty episodes, I feel like each day we’ve made new moments. We might have our fights and disagreements, but you miss those moments when you look back. It’s like in a family—you might be upset about something, but the next day you feel sorry and realize it shouldn’t have happened. It’s exactly like that on set.”
“You really form a sweet bond with your co-actors, the entire team, the directors, and everyone involved. It feels like a close-knit family. Every day is a new start, and many new moments and memories are created together.I think every day we create new memories and moments, which we remember later on. When a show eventually ends, we look back and miss those times. I just hope our show continues for a long time, creates even more wonderful memories, and maintains this positive atmosphere,” she added.
Sharing behind-the-scenes stories, she said, “There’s always something happening. If I keep sharing all the little stories, I feel like my brain might overflow, and my phone might run out of space because every day there are new fun moments. Even when we actors share the same space, there are always new things happening. For example, whenever there’s a cut, we try to keep things lively, and the crew gets involved too. The atmosphere on set is always positive, and that makes it enjoyable.”
“Every day, we feel excited about coming back to the set, and that excitement keeps the journey special. We’ve already completed 50 episodes, and I’m really happy about it. I hope we can continue to make many more episodes together. People are showing a lot of love for the show, and that makes it all the more wonderful,” she added.
