Actor Shamik Abbas, who plays the role of Arvind Chacha in Dahej Daasi, is on cloud nine as the show has crossed 100 episodes. He says that this is because the team has worked tirelessly.
“It’s an incredible feeling, a mix of emotions - happiness, pride, and a sense of accomplishment. We’ve worked tirelessly to bring this story to life, and reaching 100 episodes is a testament to our team’s dedication,” he says.
Talking about his best memories of the last 100 episodes, he says, “One memorable moment that stands out is when my character, Arvind Chacha, finally finds the courage to stand up against Vindhya. The scene was emotionally draining.”
However, there were few challenges too! “The biggest challenge was maintaining the consistency of our performances while dealing with the pressure of tight shooting schedules and the physical demands of the role,” he says.
He adds that the show is highly relatable, which is why it has survived. “I believe the key to our success lies in the relatable characters, engaging storylines, and the strong bond between the cast and crew. The best part is seeing how our characters have become an integral part of our audience’s lives, inspiring them and sparking important conversations,” he says.
Shooting the show is also a treat, says the actor, adding, “The set is like a second home, filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of belonging. We’ve formed unbreakable bonds, and it shows in our work. And, to our amazing fans, I want to say thank you for your unwavering support. Your love and encouragement drive us to push boundaries and create something truly special. Keep shining, and we’ll keep entertaining you!”
