Recently, the voice behind Baahubali: Crown of Blood, Sharad Kelkar got candid about his first meeting with Prabhas, The OG Baahubali. It really takes a lot of training and hardwork in order to dub and lend your voice to such a legendary character and dub it so convincingly that the people feel like it’s just the actor speaking the dialogues himself.
Talking about the same Sharad Kelkar said, “I don’t know much about him (Prabhas) because I hardly met him once or twice. Neither have we chatted on the phone. He is a very shy guy. He doesn’t come out often. I have dubbed for him but with his mannerisms, I know what his working style is. I met him for the first time when he was shooting for Koffee with Karan. We met and both of us looked at each other and greeted. All he said was, ‘Good, fantastic job.’ That’s the conversation we had”
Adding to it he said ,“Baahubali is not just a character; he embodies strength, valour, and righteousness. I aimed to infuse these qualities into my rendition while maintaining the integrity of the character.”
