The much-awaited trailer of the film Shatak – 100 Years of the Sangh has recently been released, and it features the powerful voice of Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn as the narrator. His deep and impactful voice makes the very first glimpse of the film highly compelling. The trailer reflects the film’s grandeur, emotion, and seriousness.
Based on the values of sacrifice, perseverance, and nation-first, the trailer traces the century-long journey inspired by the enduring thoughts of Guruji M. S. Golwalkar. Drawing from various documented sources, the film attempts to present a perspective on certain lesser-known chapters of history. The strong symbolism of the saffron color further emphasizes this concept.
Speaking about being part of the film, Ajay Devgn said, “Heartfelt congratulations on the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. A century is not merely a milestone in time, but a symbol of generations of commitment, sacrifice, and contribution to nation-building. Over these hundred years, the Sangh has played a significant role in shaping conversations around service, unity, and cultural identity. ‘Shatak’ attempts to shed light on this long journey. It is truly an honor for me to lend my voice to this story. This is not just the story of an organization, but the story of an idea that has stood firm through time while facing numerous challenges. Giving my voice to a narrative that speaks of resilience, faith, and collective purpose is an immensely meaningful experience.”
Produced in collaboration with Panorama, the film is produced by Veer Kapoor and directed by Ashish Mall. The co-producer is Ashish Tiwari. Shatak will be released nationwide on 20 February 2026.
