Actor Shishir Singh Chauhan, who plays the role of Momo Bhai in Mamta and Yash Patnaik’s show Aukaat Se Jyada on Freshh Mint, a YouTube Channel, says that he loves being associated with the project. He adds his character has a lot of layers.
“I am playing the character of Momo bhai, he is the brother of Gargi. He is a big businessman who happens to deal in drugs in the form of momos for the distributions and deals. He is a gangster for many and one of the cruellest men. The character is quite exciting and the opposite of what I am in real life. So it’s quite fascinating to play and explore the psyche of such beings,” he says.
Talking about how much he associates with his character, he says, “The relatability with the character is only in the form of the love, concern and security of my sister in the show as of now. As I have two younger sisters and I love them the most.”
The actor has been preparing at work, he says, adding, “As of now all the prep is happening on the set, with the director and the team. Exploring the unknown with the captain of the ship. I am yet to come to any conclusion about the show as I am very new to it. But I love the energy of the people in the show.”
Meanwhile, he says that working with Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s Inspire Films is a good experience. “It’s a wonderful experience, never felt so comfortable on a set. Learning and growing with this beautiful team!”
