Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor actor Shivangi Verma has turned producer and has already started creating content for her social media platforms. Asked if she wants to branch out into other areas of the entertainment industry, she said, “I am really looking forward to being a producer any time soon.”
“I have a lot of interest in producing anything that’s related to this industry. Be it music albums or shows or even short documentaries for that matter, I just want to tell you that I have set up my team and I have started producing my own content on a professional level, and you will really get to see this on my social platform from this week onwards, so I’m already working for it; let’s see what happens,” she added.
She said her passion, honesty, and consistency are her greatest strengths as an actor. She added, “I would like to include the biggest support system that I have from my family. They believe in me that I will do it, and with their love for me, I’m sure nothing can go wrong.”
Shivangi understands the requirements of the industry and works on improving her craft every day. She said, “I make acting skills, reels, and shorts for my social platform to always be connected to the craft. I do watch a lot of series. In fact, I’m a big fan of television shows where I understand the acting better.” She is not someone who cares about what others are saying about her, and it’s only her family’s opinion that truly matters to her. “I only accept feedback from my very close ones, which is only my family. People do talk, and they criticize to pull you down because they know that you are doing better than them, so I don’t take up everybody’s sh*t. I do take shit by choice, and that shit should work for me to make my performance better.”
And with experience, she has also learned how to handle deadlines and work pressure. “Initially, I never used to handle all this before, but all thanks to the experience. I have been in the industry. All thanks to the situation that I have come across, which has made me a better person. I am stronger now. I’m better than before. I’ve got a lot of patience. I can see confidence in myself, and I know when I believe that I’m strong enough to handle any sort of situation,” she said.
Asked how she contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment on set, Shivangi said, “I don’t know about this, but I do know that my co-actors in their interviews and segments have mentioned that whenever Shivangi comes on the set, she kind of brings some positivity around, so this really motivates me. I know that I don’t spoil the decorum and always think about others before myself. I do things that’s good for everybody, not just for me. I do a lot of practice to make sure that everybody is comfortable working with me so that they get happy with me, and they are always on to be working with me next on my upcoming projects.“
