Shiwani Chakraborty who is currently working in the popular show Anupamaa as Meeta has become an entrepreneur with her skincare brand called PavitRam. Throwing more light on her ideation of the brand the pretty actress says,”PavitRam was conceived from a simple yet powerful realisation that skincare should be pure, honest, and rooted in nature, not filled with harsh chemicals. After working as an artist in the industry for few years I also understood one should always have a backup. And as an actor I can understand a lot about skin care ranges. The idea took shape when I personally experienced the gap between traditional, time-tested remedies and modern skincare products. During my research and interactions with consumers, I realized there was a growing need for a brand that blends ancient wisdom with modern science, and that’s when the vision for PavitRam was born.”
Any new thing we start comes with its host of challenges, Shiwani has also faced a few ordeals. She says,”One of the biggest challenges was formulating products that are both natural and effective without compromising on safety and quality. Sourcing the right ingredients, finding trustworthy manufacturers, and ensuring regulatory compliance required patience and persistence. As a new venture, building credibility and understanding market expectations were also challenging, but these experiences helped shape PavitRam into a more thoughtful and responsible brand.”
PavitRam products are carefully crafted skincare solutions made with high-quality natural and herbal ingredients. Each formulation is designed to nourish, protect, and enhance the skin’s natural balance. The brand focuses on gentle yet effective care suitable for everyday use, ensuring the products are free from harmful chemicals and made with a deep respect for skin health and sustainability. The brand logo has a beautiful lotus and peacock in it. Shiwani being a spiritual person chosen lotus because the flower is common in worship of all the Hindu god-goddess which signifies purity. Peacock because it’s connects with India.
When asked about the usp of PavitRam she says,”The unique selling point of PavitRam lies in its purity and purpose. Our products are inspired by traditional wellness practices, combined with modern formulation techniques. We emphasize clean ingredients, transparency, and skin-friendly formulations, making PavitRam a brand consumers can truly trust.
Our focus is to ensure that every aspect—from product quality to customer experience—is thoughtfully perfected before the official launch.”
The brand name ‘PavitRam’ is unique, so what prompted her to finalise this name. On this Shiwani shares,”The name PavitRam comes from the word “Pavitra,” meaning pure and sacred. Our tag line is BLISS OF PURITY so It reflects our philosophy of purity in ingredients, intentions, and results. The name symbolizes our commitment to offering skincare that is clean, wholesome, and respectful to both skin and nature.”
Shiwani is quite pro when it comes to her own beauty regime. ”I look up to individuals and philosophies that promote natural beauty, self-care, and authenticity. Rather than a single person, I draw inspiration from traditional wellness practices and modern leaders who believe that true beauty comes from healthy skin, confidence, and mindful living.”
