Anupamaa actor Shiwani Chakraborty recently visited the Brahma Kumaris event on 17th January to attend the birthday celebration of their founder, lovingly known as Brahma Baba. The day included a special meditation program, prayers, and quiet moments of reflection and she was Felicitated at the event.
Talking about her connection with Brahma Kumaris, Shiwani shares, “Brahma Kumaris’s center is just near my house but I never visited it but after attending the event I’ll surely visit. This place has given me a different kind of peace. In an industry where life is always fast and noisy, meditation helps me slow down and breathe and coincidentally my name is Shiwani too and I wish I could be as calm as Shivani Didi. ”
Speaking about Brahma Baba, she says, “Even though he is not physically with us today, his thoughts and teachings are still very alive. His journey and vision continue to guide so many people.” She adds, “There was no loud celebration, only silence, prayers, and positive energy. That silence spoke more than words,” she says with a soft smile. Talking about today’s stressful lifestyle, she says, “We all look successful from outside, but inside many of us are tired. Meditation teaches you how to be strong from within, not just on the surface.” She ends by saying, “I may be an actor by profession, but as a human being, I just want peace and clarity. I am sure everyone wants that.”
