Mumbai’s spiritual heart resonated with celestial melodies as Make Earth Green Again (MEGA) Foundation, in collaboration with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Shobha Nigam Foundation, hosted the Adinath Shambhu Maha Shivratri Celebrations at Lands End Amphitheatre, Bandra West, where devotion, music, and meditation came together in a transcendental experience, curated by Yogini Meenal Nigam, and featuring a powerhouse lineup of singers including Padma Shri Sonu Nigam, Padma Shri Anup Jalota, Agam Kumar Nigam, Sanjay Tandon, Shraddha Pandit, and Meenal Nigam herself, in a night dedicated to the divine.
The evening commenced with a heartfelt tribute honoring all those who made the event possible, followed by a divine meditation and an abhishek to Lord Shiva through powerful mantras and melodic invocations, immersing the audience in deep spiritual energy for an hour, before Meenal Nigam unveiled her original composition “Adinath Shambhu”, a musical offering to Lord Shiva, featuring the soul-stirring voices of Sonu Nigam, Agam Kumar Nigam, Sanjay Tandon, and herself, in a composition infused with sacred rhythms and heartfelt devotion, elevating the night’s spiritual essence and connecting thousands of devotees with the Adiyogi.

Taking the stage, Padma Shri Sonu Nigam captivated the audience with spiritually uplifting renditions, his voice resonating with deep devotion as he described Maha Shivratri as a night of awakening and surrender, while Padma Shri Anup Jalota, a legend in devotional music, followed with kirtans and bhajans that stirred the soul, alongside Agam Kumar Nigam, Sanjay Tandon, and Shraddha Pandit, creating an ethereal atmosphere where each note became an invocation, leaving the audience in a trance of divine bliss as the amphitheater echoed with chants of “Om Namah Shivaya”, culminating in a musical crescendo that lingered in the hearts of those present.
Amidst the spiritual fervor, the Shobha Nigam Foundation honored mothers with resilience Mamoni Sheikh, Parul Daptari, Ribika Shaikh, Bharati Koregaonkar, Nasima Bibi, Priyanka Sushil Gamare, and Nisha Patil for their spirit,, embodying the spirit of Maha Shivratri. Dignitaries and spiritual luminaries including, Shri Nitya Gopal Das and Mahant Kamal Nayan Das from Ayodhya, Supercop Vishwas Nagre Patil, Sanjay Tandon – Founder-Mentor ISAMRA, BMC Deputy Commissioner Vishvas Mote, Jt Comm Vinayak Vispute, Dev Munde, Amol Vasaikar, Eram Faridi, Basant R Rasiwasia, Yogesh Lakhani, Chef Virendra Rawat, Soumya Vajpayee, Shraddha Pandit, Yogendra Karki, Dr. (Hon) Ramachandran Srinivasan, Abhinav Kumar Upadhyay, Hetal Puniwala, Vasudha Tiwari, Krishnaveni Srinivasan, Terence Lewis, Alok Thakur, among others were honoured on the occasion, uniting in a shared devotion that transformed the night into a sacred invocation of Lord Shiva’s energy.
