The makers of the slice-of-life family entertainer Binny and Family recently shared the first poster of the film, which received an overwhelming response from the audience as well as celebrities. The film, set to resonate with audiences of all ages and aims to bridge the generational gap, is a collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Mahaveer Jain in association with acclaimed filmmakers Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Lamba.
Now, as per sources, the trailer of the coming-of-age film will be attached to the print of Stree 2, which is releasing on August 15. “Dinesh Vijan has agreed to lend his support to ‘Binny and Family’ as the theatrical trailer of this Ssanjay Tripaathy directorial will screen with ‘Stree 2,’” the source stated.
As part of the newcomers initiative, producer Mahaveer Jain is introducing Anjini Dhawan in this family-oriented film. Binny and Family, which received positive feedback during its test screenings, will release in theatres on August 30. Apart from Anjini Dhawan, Binny and Family features an impressive star cast, including Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, Naman Tripaathy, and Charu Shankar.
Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar praised the film. “Had the pleasure of seeing this gem of a film… made me cry, laugh, and I walked out feeling like sunshine! My love to my dearest friends @ektarkapoor, @Shashankkhaitan, and #mahaveerji! Welcome to the movies, @anjini_dhawan09! You are so, so lovely in the film,” he wrote.
Binny and Family, carrying the message #HarGenerationKuchKehtaHai, is produced by Mahaveer Jain Films and Waveband Productions.
