Somy Ali’s No More Tears helps save and empower 50,000 victims this August

There is no greater joy in helping victims of domestic violence and rape find rehabilitation and a better life. Actor Somy Ali, who runs a US-based NGO called No More Tears and helps to not only save and protect but also build a new life for abuse victims, has helped more 50,000 victims in the month of august. She took to Instagram to share the news.

“In August @nomoretearsusa accomplished a huge milestone in saving and empowering a total of 50,000 victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. And, this was possible solely because of YOU. Please continue supporting our efforts and mission as human trafficking has now become over a billion dollars industry. We can’t do this alone,” she wrote.

She added, “We have rescued victims both nationally and internationally. Primarily internationally from India who are being brought here under the guise of a job or extended families bringing children to show them America. Instead they are selling the children to human trafficking gangs. We always need you to be our support system because you are the real heroes. Thank you as the founder, survivor and on behalf of the victims you help transform into survivors.”
