Actor Somy Ali, who has starred in several Bollywood films such as Teesra Kaun?, Aao Pyaar Karen, and Andolan, was treated to a lovely surprise by one of her fans. She took to Instagram to share a video of a scene with actor Sanjay Dutt from their film Andolan.
“It’s the sweetest thing when a fan sends you a piece of your past. My first time facing the camera was with Sanju in Andolan, and I was freaking out, having grown up watching his movies,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her experience shooting with him, she added, “He made me feel so comfortable by cracking jokes, which broke the ice right away. This is still my number one favorite song of all my films.”
While Somy was loved on screen, she has since relocated to the US. The actor now runs a US-based NGO called No More Tears. Through her organization, she tirelessly strives to save, protect, and rehabilitate victims of domestic violence, rape, and human trafficking. Over the years, she has managed to help countless women and children. Somy often speaks about how her primary goal in life now is to save as many people as possible.
