Sonam Mhasvekar: Shot a reel on Navri Natli song with the Devmanus team at midnight

The gripping Zee Marathi show Devmanus – Madhla Adhyay has generated intense curiosity among viewers. With a unique blend of love, greed, crime, and family drama, each episode unveils new mysteries, thrilling twists, and complex character arcs that keep the audience hooked. Currently, the wedding of Lali and Gopal is the focal point of the storyline, and several high-voltage events are set to unfold, steering the narrative in a whole new direction.

On one hand, a major conflict erupts between Sudhakar and Ajit over the division of property. Sudhakar is furious upon seeing Ajit receive land so easily, creating a tense atmosphere. Amid this tension, the traditional wedding rituals begin. Lali is beaming with joy — but how long will her happiness last is uncertain. Meanwhile, Ajit makes a shocking move. On the chaotic night before the wedding, he secretly buries Mac with Manisha’s help. After working through the night, he finishes the task by dawn and makes it home in time for the celebrations. However, suspicion is soon to fall on Ajit’s actions.

Speaking about the wedding sequence, Sonam Mhasvekar, who plays Lali, shared, “A beautiful wedding mandap was set up right in front of our wada. We filmed the mehendi, ghana bharni, chuda bharne, haldi, wedding — all of it there. And we still have scenes like the gondhal and grihapravesh left to shoot. During the haldi, when the band played, it took me back to my childhood. I grew up in the Agri community, where such bands and songs are part of every traditional celebration."

She added, “The Gopal-Lali wedding is being shot in a completely traditional, ritualistic way. Every day, I get ready in full bridal attire. To be honest, I’ve always been fascinated by these customs, songs, and traditions. I love watching wedding sequences in shows. We’ve been filming this wedding for almost 8 to 10 days now. The energy of the entire unit makes it even more fun to shoot. Let me share a fun incident — we shot a wedding-themed reel on the song ‘Navri Natli’, which I’m sure most of you have already seen. It took a lot of effort to make that reel because it was hard to gather everyone together. We spent the whole day on other scenes, and it was only at midnight that we finally shot it. At that time, Kiran (who plays Gopal) had a close-up scene coming up. He requested the director to spare us a little time, and Sir kindly agreed. He watched us shoot the reel and was laughing so much seeing our excitement!”
