In the TV show Laxmi Niwas, after losing his job, Sriniwas decides to start afresh in the new year by working as a rickshaw driver. However, at the end of the day, he has to pay a fixed amount to the rickshaw owner, and after doing so, he brings his first earnings home. But he has to hide his new job from Laxmi. Since this is the first time he is doing such physically demanding work, his shoulders and back begin to ache, and the harsh sun darkens his complexion. Laxmi notices the changes in him and starts suspecting that he is hiding something.
Meanwhile, during an election campaign, Gunaji spots Srinivas driving a rickshaw, which raises doubts in his mind. Later, Gunaji visits Srinivas’ house, but Srinivas manages to convince him that he is still at his old job. Gunaji also plans to invite Srinivas to his daughter’s engagement.
On the other hand, Jayant has never celebrated Gudi Padwa in a traditional way, whereas Janhavi follows every ritual meticulously. He confesses to her that his way of loving is different, but he promises to stand by her no matter what. Meanwhile, Sidhu feels guilty for hiding his true identity from Bhavana. He contemplates telling her that he is actually Gade Patil, but before he can, his family arranges his engagement.
Laxmi starts following Srinivas, convinced that he is keeping a secret from her. She finally confides in Sidhu, expressing her desire to find a job for herself.
Now, what will happen when Srinivas’ truth is revealed to Laxmi? How long will Janhavi try to understand Jayant? Will Sidhu confess his real identity to Bhavana?
