Most power-packed performer Rajkummar Rao is back as Vicky in Stree 2, and his fans can’t keep calm. The teaser of the much-anticipated film is out. Interestingly, it was screened directly at the theatres along with Maddock Films’ latest release Munjya. From the first frame, the makers make it clear that the sequel is funnier, scarier and has all the elements to become the biggest blockbuster of the year. Fans, who witnessed the teaser at the theatres, were seen rooting for the film, which is Rao’s third outing this year. And going by fans’ reactions, the film is set to solidify 2024 as Rao’s year as it is sure to mint moolahs at the box office.
Rao has been having a great year so far with back-to-back releases. He was seen in the role of a visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla in his film Srikanth, which received critical accolades, while in Mr and Mrs Mahi, he was seen playing a cricketer-turned-coach. The two diverse roles, which are sure to make Rao a favourite this award season, have proven the actor’s versatility as well as took box office by storm. In fact, Mr and Mrs Mahi became Rao’s biggest opening film after Stree. And now, it seems like Stree 2 will break the previous records as well.
But the year is not over for Rao! The actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Triptii Dimri for the first time in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. He also has couple of other interesting projects in his pipeline, which he will announce soon!
