The trailer of Gaadi Number 1760, presented by Tanvi Films, was recently released, and its suspense, twists, and turns have piqued the curiosity of audiences. Along with gripping visuals, one element that stands out is veteran actor Suhas Joshi performing action scenes. The 77-year-old actor plays a significant role in the film and, notably, has performed some of the action scenes herself.
Speaking about the experience, Suhas Joshi said, “No matter the age, when you truly love a role, you feel the need to immerse yourself in it completely. My character in Gaadi Number 1760 is unique, and doing action scenes was a new and exciting experience. It’s the passion in my heart and my love for acting that bring me back in front of the camera. The team’s support and the positive environment made the action scenes feel effortless.”
The director shared, “Suhas Ma’am is truly an inspiration. Considering her age, we had arranged for a body double, but she flatly refused and said, ‘I will do the action scenes myself.’ The confidence in her voice left us speechless for a moment. Her energy, dedication, and respect for the craft at this age inspired all of us. Truly, she’s not just an actress to us — she’s a role model.”
The film is produced by Kailash Soradi and Vimala Soradi, with writing and direction by Yogiraj Sanjay Gaikwad. Featuring Prathamesh Parab, Shubhankar Tawde, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Suhas Joshi, Prasad Khandekar, Shrikant Yadav, and Shashank Shende in lead roles, the film is set to release on July 4.
