Actor Suneet Thakur, part of the web series ‘A Day in Our Lives’ (Season 3) produced and directed by Raghav Kansal, expresses his love for his role as Kabir. He emphasizes that he deeply relates to the character.
“The best role I could have asked for is Kabir. That’s the catch. I relate to Kabir on many levels. In real life, I look forward to embodying traits like his—calm, focused, and generous,” he says.
When asked about the most challenging aspects of being an actor, he reflects, “There are times of rejection, facing tough auditions, and waiting for releases, but I embrace each challenge. Acting has always been my passion, so challenges don’t deter me; they enrich my journey. It’s about the journey itself; the destination is secondary. ‘Safar khoobsurat hai, manzil se bhi’ (The journey is more beautiful than the destination),” he adds.
Suneet believes that diverse content finds its audience today. “I firmly believe there’s an audience for every kind of content. Series like ‘A Day In Our Lives’ resonate particularly well with the youth because it reflects real people like us. You can find a Kabir in real life, encounter characters like Karan in your own love story, and witness people capable of moving mountains for their relationships and friendships. It’s a narrative that resonates deeply, isn’t it?” he remarks.
Regarding his collaboration with Raghav Kansal, he shares, “He is a guy full of enthusiasm, wanting to build something big in the industry. I still recall the day he pitched the concept of “A Day In Our Lives” to me and Sneh; from then on, there was no turning back. He’s incredibly hardworking, and collaborating with him is always a pleasure.”
Filming the show was an enjoyable experience for Suneet. “I had quite a bit of mischief during shooting, but I won’t elaborate here. However, our main stylist was absent for half of the shoot due to an emergency. On those days, we all had to approve each other’s outfits,” he reveals with a smile."
