With his divine melodies touching everyone’s hearts and his ‘Geet Ramayana’ creating a special place in every music lover’s soul, the life journey of the legendary Sudhir Phadke is soon to be depicted on the silver screen. The second teaser of Swaragandharva Sudhir Phadke has been released, promising to unveil the life of a talented and versatile singer. In the teaser, a poignant line resonates, “In the toughest phases of my life journey, my emotions found expression through my voice,” capturing the essence of Babuji’s personality.
Produced by Redefine Productions and directed by Yogesh Deshpande, the film features Sunil Barve, Adish Vaidya, Sharad Ponkshe, Sagar Talashikar, Mrinmayee Deshpande and Apurva Modak. Avinash Narkar will be playing the protagonist. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by Deshpande, with Saurabh Gadgil and Yogesh Deshpande serving as producers.
Swaragandharva Sudhir Phadke is scheduled to be released on May 1, coinciding with Maharashtra Day, making it the most anticipated musical biopic of the year.
Director Yogesh Deshpande shares, “Portraying the life journey of a renowned personality on screen is never easy. It requires thorough research and practice. ‘Babuji’ was a beloved figure in Maharashtra, and I felt compelled to showcase his life journey on the big screen. I have gathered as much information as possible about him, met many who were associated with him, and learned many unknown aspects. This journey of bringing his life on screen has been challenging yet rewarding. His singing is known to all, but his struggles were immense. This journey will be seen in Swaragandharva Sudhir Phadke.”
