Taarini Belsare lives in Mumbai. Her mother was a head constable in the police department—deeply honest. But one day, she was accused of taking a bribe, and out of fear, it was portrayed that she died by suicide. Thinking of his daughter’s future, Taarini’s father remarried. However, the stepmother made it clear from day one that no one was to mention the former head constable in the house again.
But Taarini firmly believes her mother could never have done anything wrong. Determined to uncover the truth and expose the real culprit behind the false accusation, she joins the police force.
Alongside her is a young man named Kedar, whose aim never misses. Just as Taarini is searching for her mother’s true story, Kedar is on a quest to find the father who abandoned him and his mother. They become each other’s strength. Kedar harbours feelings for Taarini, but has never had the courage to confess them.
At this point, both Taarini and Kedar move into the home of media tycoon Khandekar. But what incident led them to live in the Khandekar household? What’s Taarini’s reason for entering their home? Will she find clues there about the person who framed her mother? And could these revelations drive a wedge between Taarini and Kedar?
